on one side i'd like to envelop myself in every ounce of society. mostly though, i just want to be involved with community events and be known for improving the lives of others around me.
and on the other side, i'd like to completely distance myself from society. i would like to not participate in anything. i'd like to live my life in private, making my own decisions and not be influenced by the stupidity and selfishness that lurk among these streets.
so instead i walk in the middle. i participate in things that i believe are worthwhile until they prove not to be. i stick to those whom i trust with my deepest secrets [if i had any secrets], and i give my love in a non-discriminatory fashion until it's thrown back in my face.
and that is the story of my life, finding the balance between two extremes.
