flicks were made by the government with the ultimate intention of making money.
Please explain your crazy notion, Becky..
Well you see, chick flicks are based on basic situations that most of us find ourselves in so as to relate to the masses. Then, after we picture ourselves as the main character, a massive conflict with an obvious cliche of a solution occurs. The solution is what sets us up though. The counterpart realizes their wrong- doing and makes it up to the main character through some grandiose scheme, which tugs at our pathos. Even though it's cheesy as Wisconsin, we forget about the unrealistic aspect of the situation and let our hearts melt. Then we expect these ridiculous things to happen in real life when we find the "right guy."
Now, back to the scheming of the government.
So, inevitably, guys have become aware of such unrealistic expectations that have been implemented into young girls' heads. In efforts to try to be able to fulfill these fantastical notions, men then set their minds on finding a job to earn money to buy her the house of her dreams, a diamond that shines like the sun bouncing off her hair, and all the chocolate she could ever crave whenever mother nature pays her a monthly visit.
He works and works and works and tries to excel so as to please her and be able to impress her family.
Then she finds him, and he realizes that he's been successful on his own. He wants to leave her, but she traps him by having a baby. Now he has no choice but to work to keep putting dinner on the table and eventually send the spawnling to college so they can repeat the cycle.
In conclusion, chick flicks and the concept of love, were created by the government so as to perpetuate the cycle.
