my mom is the strongest woman i know. 24 years with my brother, 23 years in the navy, 22 years with my dad, 21 years of putting up with me. always putting us before herself, always serving others with a smile, always loving everyone with a gigantic heart. it's a shame we only honor our mother's with a day and i'm sure some mothers are taken for granted every other day. our mom's deserve the best. they carried us inside them for nine + months, they tore their insides to bring us into this world, and they continued to love us even though we temporarily ruined their figure.
my mom, no matter how tough a situation she is faced with, has always pulled through. she has never let anyone be the downfall of her. she doesn't let anyone else's opinion thwart her love of her family and friends. she believes in me, no matter how bad i mess up. she'll love me to the end of the world.
i'm lucky to have someone so dependable. i'm lucky to have such a great best friend, that doesn't judge me for my errors, but supports me constantly and encourages me to achieve my dreams-not hers.
words are not enough to describe how much i love my mom. she is my everything, and for her and her alone would i do anything. my care taker, best friend, inspiration, creator, and token white woman.. dear mom, i love you. <3
