like water under the bridge

yesterday's troubles are officially old news. time to lay the past to rest and just carry on, stronger than ever. this minor setback will not define me or fool me into thinking that i am not worthy of the best. i will just take this disappointment and turn it into something productive. sure, i set my sights on this and only this- but life is what happens when you're too busy making plans. my faith continues to assure me that His plan is greatest of all, and what He wants is what will be. i just need to be patient because good things come to those who wait.
must find new paths to take in the meantime, because good things don't just fall from the sky and land in your lap.
