Obey thy heart, and what not.

As I was restocking bookmarks, I couldn't help but notice that most of the inspirational phrases on them had something to do with love.
"There is only one happiness in life, to love and be loved."
"Give all to love, obey thy heart."
and the like.. nauseating if you were going through a breakup or something.
Luckily for me, I am still in love. And I do believe in it's strength and beauty.
I do give all to love, for love is the only thing that has made me happy and alleviates my anxiety.
It has given me the strength to make better decisions. It has taught me to be considerate of others before myself.
It has made me a better person.
And maybe I'm territorial at times because I don't want anything to interrupt the constant flow between he and I.
And maybe I get emotional at times because the thought of losing my love is simply unbearable.
And maybe .. just maybe, I want this love to blossom into something even more beautiful one day.
So I do everything in my power to protect and cherish this love.
